Police Motorcycle Skills Training


We are pleased to announce the 2018 Gulf Coast Police Motorcycle Skills Training. This year’s seminar (the 20th) will be held in Gonzales, LA at Lamar Dixon Expo Center on November 6-10, 2018.

This motorcycle skills training will provide challenging and unique courses designed to enhance your skills as a motor officer.  All proceeds from this skills training will provide support for Dream Day Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Schedule of Events


 Tuesday, November 6th

  • 0800-1700 – Track open for practice
  • 1200-1300 – Lunch provided at track
  • 1800-2000 – Dinner provided at track

Wednesday, November 7th

  • 0800-1700 – Track open for practice
  • 0700-0900 – Breakfast provided at track
  • 1200-1300 – Lunch provided at track
  • 1800-2000 – Dinner provided at track

Thursday, November 8th

  • 0800-0900 – Track open for practice
  • 0700-0900 – Breakfast provided at track
  • 0900-1200 – Challenge Ride
  • 1200-1300 – Lunch provided at track
  • Track open for practice at completion of Challenge Ride
  • 1800-2000 – Dinner at Houma’s House Plantation (40136 Highway 942, Darrow, LA)

*Extra banquet tickets must be purchased by noon

Friday, November 9th

  • 0700-0900 – Breakfast provided at track
  • 0800-1200 – Individual Slow Ride open
  • 0800-1200 – 1st Speed Run
  • 1200-1300 – Lunch provided at track
  • 1300-1500 – “Nick Tullier” Challenge
  • 1500-1700 – Partner Ride
  • 1800-2000 – Dinner at Baton Rouge Harley Davidson (5853 Siegen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA)

Saturday, November 10th

  • 0700-0800 – Breakfast provided at track
  • 0800-0900 – Opening Ceremony
  • 0900-1200 – 2nd Speed Run
  • 1200-1300 – Lunch provided at track
  • 1300-1500 – Team Slow Ride
  • 1800-2100 – Banquet at Lamar Dixon
