River Region Art Association is offering Adult Art Classes held on Saturdays during the month of July. Those interested in learning the techniques of painting will be guided by well-known local artist, Peg Carbo. Peg has a love of the nature around her and paints Louisiana swamps scenes that are filled with details and capture the essence of nature. Look closely at her work and you will see animals and details that enhance the scenes. All levels of artistic ability are welcome in this 4-week long class. Students will be painting with acrylic paint on a stretched canvas. Your finished painting will be ready to show off to friends and family.
Class Days: July 7, 12, and August 4, 11
Class Fee: $125 this includes the materials for the class

The City Farmhouse Pop-up Fairs bring together the best nationally hand selected vendors in the business – offering one of a kind farmhouse vintage and antique furnishings and home decor. Spaces are styled and merchandised in award winning vignette’s that showcase how to use the style in your own home, or business.
The entire weekend is a celebratory-like atmosphere, featuring live music, workshops, and more. The Fair kicks off on Thursday evening, July 19 from 6-9 pm with the First Shop of the Fair. The $35.00 ticket price includes: 2 complimentary cocktails, appetizers, and first pick of the Fair from 6-9 pm and a weekend pass for Friday 7/20 and Saturday 7/21 shopping & entertainment. *First Shop of Fair tickets are limited*
General Admission Tickets can be purchased at the door Friday and Saturday for $12.00 per day, or a two-day pass for $15.00.
