Donaldsonville Native Chef Opens restaurant-distillery on St. Charles Avenue.

LuLa Restaurant and Distillery to open in New Orleans,  it is the first restaurant & distillery in the Deep South.  The menu is Louisiana countryside and the rum, vodka, and gin are made from sugar cane from the Lula Sugar Mill in Belle Rose/Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

Lula is located on St. Charles Avenue, between the New Orleans CVB building and Lee Circle.  The owner/chef is from Donaldsonville, LA studied at Cordon Bleu in Austin TX, and worked at Commander’s Palace.
